South Florida Nonprofits: Apply for Refurbished Technology

News

Refurbished laptops ready for donation to South Florida organizations

More than 1,000 charities, schools and nonprofits are currently on the ERA network's donation waitlist. Behind every name on that list is the same story: people who could do more with working technology than they can without it.

ERA USA, the Electronic Reusing Association, is now accepting applications from South Florida organizations. With warehouses in Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, we refurbish donated equipment right here and deliver it into our own community.

Who can apply

  • Nonprofits and charitable organizations
  • Care facilities, including hospitals, senior homes and daycares
  • Educational institutions and schools

Applications are submitted online and handled first-come, first-served, with wait times depending on incoming stock. Standard machines (i5 processor, 8 GB RAM, 128 GB SSD) come at no charge; higher-end systems are available for a modest fee that funds the program.

Donors can direct their gift

If your business is retiring equipment, you can tell us which charity should receive your donated devices. Donor-directed donations mean a company's old laptops can support the food bank down the street, a senior home across town or the school your employees' kids attend — with secure data destruction handled every step of the way.

Two ways to act today

South Florida organizations: apply for refurbished technology now — applications are first-come, first-served. Businesses with equipment to give: book a pickup and help us shorten that waitlist, one device at a time.
