The Senior Citizens Sunshine Club is a welcoming place that gives purpose to senior’s lives by keeping them involved socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. They are a socially active service organization for the community.
This donation will be used for a new program called “Getting Comfortable with Your Computer”. Most seniors do not have the skills to operate a computer, so this program will come in handy when they want to contact family and friends far away or shop online.
The image below is of their first senior ever to use a computer in their newly created computer lab. She is setting up a Facebook account so that she can interact with your grandchildren who like in PEI.
Speaking with Dwayne Hlady, a representative at the Senior Citizens Sunshine Club he expressed his thanks, “Thank you so much for helping us achieve our goal of setting up our computer lab. Without ERA’s help, our computer lab would not have been possible. What a fantastic organization!”
