Electronic Recycling Association and Lougheed Mall partner to offer the public secure and responsible disposal of unwanted electronic equipment

Burnaby, BC (August 18, 2015) – The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) has partnered with Lougheed Mall to host an electronics collection event for residents of Burnaby. Individuals are invited to bring in unwanted personal electronic devices to be confidentially processed.
“Back-to-school means many families will be purchasing new equipment,” says Bojan Paduh, president and founder of ERA. “It’s a great time to clean out storage areas and start the year fresh, so we’re offering a convenient drop-off location at Lougheed Mall for residents of Burnaby to get rid of equipment they no longer have use for.”
ERA accepts most electronic equipment (computers, laptops, printers, phones, tablets, stereos etc.) and will remove data from all equipment received prior to evaluating it for reuse potential. Reusable equipment will be refurbished to support ERA’s Canada-wide computer donation programs while end-of-life equipment will be passed on to ERA’s accredited recycling partners for responsible final processing.
Media representatives are invited to attend and cover this community event.
