ERA taking Edmonton by storm with the help of MLA Marlin Schmidt

The Electronic Recycling Association picks an Edmonton organization to donate 30 laptops to for “day of donations”

Edmonton, September 13th, 2018 – The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is excited to announce they will be holding their monthly program, Day of Donations, in Edmonton. This will be the third month this program has been in place. This time there will be a donation to the Al Mustafa Academy. MLA Marlin Schmidt will be accompanying ERA on their outing to this school to donate 30 laptops. These laptops will be a great support for the students and staff at this school assisting them with school work and reporting student’s grades.

“This is great news for the students and staff at Al Mustafa Academy,” Schmidt said. “These tools provided by ERA will go a long way in assisting students in their learning. I’d like to thank the ERA for supporting communities here and across the country and for promoting effective waste management.”

The Al Mustafa Academy is a fully accredited private school registered in 2008 as a non-profit organization where over 400 students from KG-Grade 12 are taught the Alberta Education curriculum along with Hifz, Arabic Language and Islamic Studies. The academy is considered a pillar of the community because of its work to support Syrian refugee families and lower income families.

“We are looking forward to holding our Day of Donations campaign in Edmonton this month.” Said Bojan Paduh, Founder of The Electronic Recycling Association. “Having MLA Marlin Schmidt partner with us on this event is just incredible. His support sets an example for the community, it spreads the word which allows us to donate to more charities throughout Edmonton and its surrounding areas who have yet to hear about ERA. We are always looking for ways to invest in our communities and working with MLA’s like Marlin Schmidt enables us to connect on a larger scale.”

Media representatives are invited to attend and cover this story with ERA.
