David Shepherd to present IT donations to two Edmonton organizations on behalf of The Electronic Recycling Association
Edmonton, AB — June 22, 2018 — The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA), along with Edmonton Centre’s MLA David Shepherd, will be presenting iHuman and E4C with donated IT equipment to support their programs.
“It’s always great to have David’s support for donation events in Edmonton,” says Bojan Paduh, founder, and president of the Electronic Recycling Association. “We have teamed up with David Shepherd throughout the years and are delighted to have him on board to provide so many IT devices to rewarding organizations. Having David’s support sets an example for the community, spreads the awareness that reusing your unwanted electronics not only benefits the lives of others but also creates a more sustainable way of living. A laptop or a computer have become a necessity within the household, why deprive individuals of that?”
David Shepherd personally chose the organizations scheduled to receive their donations on Monday, June 25th. “Across society, we’re working to make better use of our resources and to reduce waste and emissions. The ERA is an important partner in this work, not only helping to protect our environment but also providing valuable supports to essential community organizations.” Stated David Shepherd, MLA for Edmonton-Centre
The ERA and David Shepherd will be delivering 6 laptops and 4 computers to iHuman (9635 102A Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5H 0G3, Canada) at 2 pm and from there will head to E4C (9321 Jasper Ave, Edmonton, AB T5H 3T7, Canada) to donate another 10 laptops and 10 computers.
